No. Concierge clinics typically charge a monthly or yearly membership fee just to be a patient. We do not have membership plans. At Sunshine Endocrinology, you only pay for the appointments you need, when you need them.

No, we do not bill insurance plans. Traditional insurance models often require in-person visits and short appointment times, which doesn't work for our telehealth-first approach. By not accepting insurance, Dr. C can offer time that is necessary for complex endocrine care.

At this time, Sunshine Endocrinology is unable to accept Medicare patients in Florida. Our practice operates under a Direct Specialty Care (DSC) model and provides telehealth visits. We hope to expand access in the future and will update our website when Medicare services will become available via our telehealth platform.

We believe in clear, upfront pricing with no surprise bills:

• New Patient Consultation: $1,000. This covers the first visit. You can still use your insurance for medications, imaging, and labs that are covered.
• Follow-Up Visits: $500. Used for monitoring, medication adjustments, and lab reviews.
• Care Bundles — specialized plans including the Baby Bundle and Yearly Bundle. Contact us for pricing and eligibility details.

It is very simple. We use a secure, private video link that is sent to your email or via text.

• Labs: We send lab orders electronically to a facility of your choice.
• Prescriptions: We send these electronically to your preferred pharmacy.
• Requirements: You must be a Florida resident to be seen via our platform.

While you can often see results in your lab's portal, Dr. C will schedule a dedicated appointment to go over them with you. This ensures that you are given one-on-one time to understand exactly what the numbers mean and how they affect your treatment plan.

• Diabetes: Pre-Diabetes, Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, & Gestational Diabetes.
• Thyroid: Hypothyroidism, Hyperthyroidism, Thyroid Nodule Monitoring, Hashimoto's, & Graves'.
• Bones: Osteoporosis, Vitamin D deficiency, Hypercalcemia, Hyperparathyroidism.
• Reproductive / Hormones: PCOS & Hypogonadism.
• Pituitary / Adrenal: Nodules / Adenoma Work-Up / Monitoring, SIADH & Adrenal Insufficiency
• Obesity Medicine

At Sunshine Endocrinology, obesity care is approached as the complex, deeply personal metabolic condition that it is — not a number on a scale. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, Dr. C provides elevated, individualized care. Each plan is thoughtfully tailored using evidence-based medicine, with attention to hormones, lifestyle, and long-term sustainability — within a supportive, judgment-free space.

Sunshine Endocrinology is committed to providing respectful, inclusive care to all patients, and Dr. C is deeply passionate about transgender health. Due to current Florida regulations, gender-affirming hormone therapy must be provided in person and cannot be delivered via telehealth. As a virtual practice, we are therefore unable to initiate or continue gender-affirming hormone therapy at this time.

We continue to welcome and care for transgender patients for all other endocrine needs and are happy to help guide patients to appropriate in-person resources. We look forward to expanding these services should regulations allow in the future.
